Removal Note

Clutch release cylinder (MTX)

Clutch release cylinder (MTX) removal

  1. 1
    Unbolt the release cylinder pipe brackets from the transaxle.
    Caution: Bending the pipe can cause kinks or cracks.
    Line drawing with a magnified inset showing the clutch release cylinder pipe brackets on the transaxle; arrows point to the bolts to unbolt and the cylinder to remove.
  2. 2
    Remove the release cylinder and position it away from the transaxle with the hose still connected.
