RH and LH cylinder heads have distinct camshaft cap loosening sequences; LH head has a distributor cap.

Camshaft cap removal

    Loosen the camshaft cap bolts in five or six steps in the order shown.

    Remove the camshaft caps.

Cylinder head bolt

    Temporarily install the No.3 engine mount bracket to support the engine.

    Remove the SST.

    Loosen the cylinder head bolts in two or three steps in the order shown.
