Step 5

  1. 1
    Connect the harness connectors shown.
    Top view of the engine with the wiring harness routed over it, showing all the harness-connector locations to be connected during Step 5. Lead lines identify connectors for the engine coolant temperature sensor (ECM), knock sensor, water temperature sender unit, crankshaft position sensor, ground, generator, oil pressure switch, distributor, heated oxygen sensor (front), P/S oil pressure switch, VRIS solenoid valve, heated oxygen sensor (rear), throttle position sensor, EGR solenoid valve (vent), EGR solenoid valve (vacuum), fuel injector, idle air control valve, speedometer, ground, and starter.

    Install the harness bracket and the fuel filter.
