Fuel hose

Plug the disconnected hoses to avoid fuel leakage.

Intake manifold assembly

  1. 1
    Temporarily install the No.3 engine mount bracket to support the engine.
    Throttle body / intake area with the No.3 engine mount bracket region, used when temporarily installing the bracket to support the engine.
  2. 2
    Remove the SST installed for the timing belt removal.
  3. 3
    Remove the intake manifold stay.

    Loosen the mounting bolts in two or three steps.

Cylinder head cover

  1. 1
    Remove the cylinder head cover bolts.
    Cylinder head cover with arrows pointing to the cover bolts / ventilation pipe at the left cylinder head.
  2. 2
    Disconnect the ventilation pipe (left cylinder head).
  3. 3
    Remove the cylinder head cover.
