Throttle cable and torque converter nut steps are ATX (automatic transaxle) only. K8-ZE V6 engine.

No.2 engine mount rubber and bracket

  1. 1
    Install the mount rubber and bracket.

Starter

  1. 1
    Install the starter to the transaxle housing.
    Starter motor being installed onto the transaxle housing. Arrows point to the starter mounting bolt locations.

Seal plate

  1. 1
    Install the seal plate.
    Seal plate installed at the lower engine/transaxle joint, showing the plate and its mounting bolts.

Throttle cable (ATX)

  1. 1
    Install the throttle cable.
    Throttle cable (ATX) being installed and routed to the throttle body / transaxle, with its attachment bolt.

Torque converter nut (ATX)

  1. 1
    Hold the drive plate by using a screwdriver inserted through the service hole from the converter housing side.
    Torque converter nut tightening (ATX): a tool is held against the drive plate through the service hole while a torque wrench is inserted through the service hole from the oil pan side.

    Insert a torque wrench through the service hole from the oil pan side. Tighten the nuts evenly and gradually.
