Removal / Inspection / Installation

    Disconnect the negative battery cable.

    Remove the right front wheel.
  3. 3
    Remove in the order shown in the figure, referring to Removal Note.
    Exploded view of the timing belt assembly and front engine covers (K8-ZE V6). Numbered balloon callouts 1-15 identify components in removal order, with tightening-torque annotations in N·m {kgf·cm/kgf·m, in-lbf/ft-lbf} at each fastener. An 'SST' label marks the crankshaft pulley holder location, and 'O-RING, REPLACE' is noted near the dipstick pipe (point A).

    Install in the reverse order of removal, referring to Installation Note.
