Connect the harness connectors shown.
Accelerator cable
- 1Install the accelerator cable.
- 2Adjust the cable deflection by turning nuts A.Free play: 1-3mm {0.04-0.11in}

Steps After Installation
- 1Install the timing belt. (Refer to page B2-13.)
- 2Fill the radiator with the specified amount and type of engine coolant. (Refer to section E2.)
- 3Start the engine and (1) check the engine oil and engine coolant leakage. (2) check the ignition timing and idle speed. (Refer to pages B2-8,9.) (3) check the operation of the emission control system. (Refer to section F2.)
- 4Recheck the engine coolant and oil levels.
