RH camshaft pulley uses "R" mark, LH uses "L" mark (K8-ZE V6).

No.3 engine mount bracket (continued)

    Temporarily install the No.3 engine mount bracket to the engine mount rubber.

    Remove the SST.

Camshaft pulley

  1. 1
    Install the RH camshaft pulley so that the "R" mark can be seen and the timing mark aligns with the camshaft knock pin.

    Install the LH camshaft pulley so that the "L" mark can be seen and the timing mark aligns with the camshaft knock pin.

    Apply clean engine oil to the lock bolt threads and temporarily tighten the camshaft pulley lock bolts.
  4. 4
    Hold the camshaft by using a wrench on the cast hexagon as shown, and tighten the camshaft pulley lock bolts.
    Tightening torque: 123-140 N·m {12.5-14.3 kgf·m, 91-103 ft·lbf}
