Step 1

  1. 1
    Disconnect the connecting rod from the intake door link.
    Line illustration of the intake door area under the dash with an arrow indicating motion. Callout leader points to INTAKE DOOR LINK.
  2. 2
    Turn the ignition switch to ON and set the fan switch to the fourth position.
  3. 3
    Check the inlet airflow while handling the intake door link.

    Measure the voltage at the (GY) terminal wire of the air intake actuator connector.
    B+: Battery positive voltage
