    Disassemble in the order shown in the figure.
    K8 DOHC distributor exploded view. Numbered callouts: 1 cap (with high-tension lead towers), 2 rotor, 3 packing (gasket ring), 4 distributor body with connector and mounting bracket. Tightening torque note for the cap screws: 1.0—1.9 N·m {10—20 kgf·cm, 8.7—17 in·lbf}.

    Assemble in the reverse order of disassembly.
