- 1On level ground, jack up the vehicle and support it evenly on safety stands.

- 2Remove the wheel and tire assembly.
- 3Check for looseness and damage.
- 4Check the clearance between the ABS wheel-speed sensor and the ABS sensor rotor.

- 5If not as specified, replace the ABS wheel-speed sensor or ABS sensor rotor as needed.

Check resistance of ABS wheel-speed sensor
- 1Disconnect the ABS wheel-speed sensor connector.

- 2Check resistance at the ABS wheel-speed sensor.

Check Voltage of ABS wheel-speed sensor
- 1On level ground, jack up the vehicle and support it evenly on safety stands.
- 2Disconnect the ABS wheel-speed sensor connector.
- 3While rotating a wheel one revolution per second by hand, check for voltage at the ABS wheel-speed sensor terminal. Check each wheel.
- 4If not as specified, replace the ABS wheel-speed sensor or ABS sensor rotor as needed.
- 5Cancel the ABS control module memory.

- 1On level ground, jack up the vehicle and support it evenly on safety stands.

- 2Remove the wheel and tire assembly.
- 3Inspect for missing and damaging teeth.
- 4Replace the ABS sensor rotor as necessary.
