    After removing the brake fluid, disassemble in the order shown in the figure, referring to Disassembly Note.
    Exploded view of the master cylinder disassembly. Shows the cap, tank filter, fluid level sensor, tank retainer, reservoir tank, grommet, primary and secondary piston assemblies (springs and cups), and master cylinder body. SST tool marked at the cap and BRAKE FLUID/REPLACE annotations. Numbered balloon callouts 1-8 with tightening torque. Torque units: N·m (kgf-cm, in-lbf).

    Inspect all parts and repair or replace as necessary.

    Assemble in the reverse order of removal, referring to Assembly Note.

Piston Assembly

Loosen the cap by using the SST, remove the primary piston assembly out of the cylinder.
