    Disassemble in the order shown in the figure, referring to Disassembly Note.
    Exploded view of the rear (parking-brake-integrated) disc brake caliper assembly with numbered balloon callouts 1-23 covering guide pin, pin boot, bushing, retaining ring, dust seal, piston, piston seal, snap ring, spring case, spring, washer, stopper, adjuster spindle, O-ring, connecting link, spring, nut, operating lever, boot, needle bearing, rubber cap and bleeder screw, mounting support and caliper body. Several parts marked REPLACE and SST. Grease application icons throughout. Tightening torque labels: 38-49 N·m {3.8-5.0, 28-36} and 16-24 N·m {1.6-2.4, 12-17}. Unit note bottom-right: N·m (kgf·m, ft-lbf).

    Inspect all parts and repair or replace as necessary.

    Assemble in the reverse order of disassembly, referring to Assembly Note.

Piston

Remove the piston by turning the SST counterclockwise.
