Repair or replace connector

STEP 2: Is heated oxygen sensor output voltage OK?
No
Replace heated oxygen sensor

STEP 3: Does wire harness between heated oxygen sensor and ECM terminal (left bank 2D, right bank 2C) have continuity?
No
Repair or replace
Yes

STEP 4: Is ECM terminal (left bank 2D, right bank 2d) voltage OK? (see page F2-141)

Check for a short circuit in wiring from heated oxygen sensor to ECM
Yes

STEP 5: Is sensitivity of heated oxygen sensor OK? (see page F2-154)

Try a known good heated oxygen sensor and check if condition improves (see page F2-154)
