DESCRIPTION

An A/C cut-off control system is used to improve idle smoothness just after starting the engine and to improve acceleration performance.

Engine coolant temperature over 113°C {235°F}
PurposePrevents engine from overheating
Cut-off periodCycled ON/OFF (10sec.) until engine coolant temperature reduced to 107°C {225°F}

SYSTEM OPERATION

  1. 1
    Turn the ignition switch to ON.
  2. 2
    Turn the blower switch and A/C switch ON.
  3. 3
    Verify that the condenser fan stops.

    Turn the ignition switch to START and verify that the condenser fan stops for approx. 5 sec.
    The magnetic clutch and the additional fan operate together.
