Removal / Installation

    Remove in the order shown in the figure.
    Exploded view of the hood and engine-bay front structure with the hood raised, showing 9 numbered balloon callouts: windshield washer pipe, surround seal weatherstrip, hood deflector, hood insulator, hood, hood hinge, hood stay, hood lock, and hood release cable. Inset detail boxes show clip types A and B, a washer-pipe connector, and the hood lock/release cable assembly. Torque values 19–25 N·m and 7.9–10.7 N·m are called out at fastener points.

    Install in the reverse order of removal.
