Roof molding installation note (continued)

    Remove the protective liner paper of the double-sided adhesive tape at the rear end of the molding. Align the rear end of the molding to the clip and press the clip area 1.

    Press the molding down firmly, especially the rear end of the molding 2.

Removal / Installation

    Lower the door glass fully.
  2. 2
    Remove the power outside mirror. (Refer to page S-34.)
  3. 3
    Remove in the order shown in the figure, referring to Removal note.
    Exploded view of beltline molding on the door. Callout 1 (Fastener) points to a clip/grommet on the right; callout 2 (Beltline molding) points to the long molding strip along the door belt line.

    Install in the reverse order of removal.
