    Disconnect the negative battery cable.

    Remove in the order shown in the figure, referring to Removal note.
    Exploded view of the rear liftgate glass assembly and surrounding trim. Numbered balloon callouts identify liftgate lower trim (1), rear spoiler (2), rear wiper arm and blade (3, marked SST/REPLACE), liftgate molding (4), liftgate glass (5, marked SST), and dam (6, REPLACE). Tightening torque callouts: 5.9—9.80 {60—100, 53—86.7}, 3.0—5.8 {30—60, 27—52}, 4.0—5.8 {40—60, 35—52}, 3.0—4.9 {30—50, 27—43}. Unit note 'N·m (kgf·cm, in·lbf)'.

    Install in the reverse order of removal, referring to Installation note.
