    The following procedures show replacement of the O-rings. If a problem is found in other parts, replace the oil pump assembly.
    Exploded view of the engine speed sensing power steering oil pump (K8 DOHC). 20 numbered balloon callouts cover the disassembly/assembly sequence: bracket, pulley (SST), suction pipe, O-rings, pressure-switch assembly, connector, control valve, spring, pump body rear, seal washer, cam ring, vane, rotor, side plate, pins, and pump body front. Torque tags are printed at fasteners, several O-rings/seal washer are marked REPLACE, ATF-application symbols mark seal points, item 2 (pulley) is tagged SST. Torque units note: N·m (kgf·m, ft-lbf).

    Disassemble in the order shown in the figure, referring to Disassembly Note.

    Inspect all parts and replace as necessary.

    Assemble in the reverse order of disassembly, referring to Assembly Note.
