  3. 3
Remove in the order shown in the figure.
    Exploded view of the rear performance rod, lateral links (front and rear) and trailing link with the rear knuckle/hub. Numbered balloon callouts 1-17 with torque values. Torque callouts: (1)/(2) 68-95 N·m {6.9-9.7, 60-70}; (15) 94-126 N·m {9.5-12.9, 69-93}; (13) 44-60 N·m {4.4-6.2, 32-44}; (14) 75-103 N·m {7.6-10.7, 55-77.3}; (8) 86-116 N·m {8.7-11.9, 63-86}. Inset (left circle) with arrow: INSTALL THE TRAILING LINK WITH OPEN END FACING OUT. Torque legend N·m {kgf·m, ft·lbf} bottom-right.
  4. 4
Visually inspect each part and replace as necessary.
  5. 5
Install in the reverse order of removal, referring to Installation Note.
  6. 6
Loosely tighten the lateral link and trailing link bolts. Tighten all other nuts and bolts to the specified torque.
  7. 7
    Install the wheels. (Tightening torque: 89-117 N·m {9.0-12.0 kgf·m, 66-86 ft·lbf})
  8. 8
    Lower the vehicle.
  9. 9
With the vehicle unloaded, tighten the lateral link and trailing link bolts to the specified torque.
  10. 10
After installation, measure the rear wheel alignment, and adjust it if necessary. (Refer to page R-9.)
