Locknut
- 1Knock the crimped portion of the locknut outward by using a chisel and a hammer.
- 2Lock the hub by applying the brakes.
- 3Remove the locknut.
Tie-rod end
CAUTION
The sharp edges of the SST can slice the tie-rod end dust boot. Install the SST so that the sharp edges are between the dust boot and tie-rod end.
Tie-rod end
- 1Remove the tie-rod end nut.
- 2Disconnect the tie-rod end by using the SST.
Engine mount member
Suspend the engine by using the SST and remove the engine mount member.
Drive shaft
CAUTION
Be careful not to damage the ball joint dust boot.
Drive shaft
- 1Remove the clinch bolt and nut.
- 2Pry down on the lower arm to disconnect the ball joint.
