Removal / Inspection / Installation

    Remove in the order shown in the figure, referring to Removal Note.
    Exploded view of the rear disc-brake axle assembly with torque values (N·m {kgf·m, ft·lbf}). Numbered balloons: 1 Wheel and tire, 2 Hub cap (REPLACE), 3 Locknut (REPLACE), 4 Brake caliper assembly, 5 Disc plate, 6 Hub bearing assembly, 7 Dust cover, 8 ABS wheel-speed sensor, 9 Rear hub spindle. Torque callouts: 94-126 N·cm {9.5-12.9, 69-93} on caliper bracket and ABS sensor bolts, 86-116 {8.7-11.9, 63-86} on the lower caliper bolt, 46-60 {4.6-6.2, 34-44} on the dust cover bolt, 16-22 {1.6-2.3, 12-16} on the disc plate screw, 177-235 {18.0-24.0, 130-173} on the locknut, 89-117 {9.0-12.0, 66-86} on the wheel/tire.

    Inspect all parts and repair or replace as necessary.

    Install in the reverse order of removal, referring to Installation Note.

    After installation, check the rear wheel alignment. (Refer to Section R.)
