- 1Disconnect the negative battery cable.
- 2Drain the engine coolant. (Refer to page E2-5.)
- 3Remove in the order shown in the figure.
- 4Install in the reverse order of removal, referring to Installation Note.Refer to Installation Note on page E2-9.

Tightening torque (water inlet pipe bolt / thermostat cover bolt): 19-25 N·m {1.9-2.6 kgf·m, 14-18 ft-lbf}
