COOLANT FAN MOTOR
E2-12prose procedureMTX (manual transaxle) uses a single-speed coolant fan motor (11.0 A); ATX (automatic transaxle) uses a two-speed motor (low 12.0 A, high 16.8 A).
INSPECTION
MTX (Single-speed type)
- 1Check that the battery is fully charged.
- 2Disconnect the coolant fan motor connector.
- 3Connect the battery and an ammeter to the fan motor connector.

- 4Verify that the fan motor operates smoothly at the standard current.Current: 11.0 A
- 5If the fan motor is faulty, replace the fan motor.

ATX (Two-Speed Type)
- 1Check that the battery is fully charged.

- 7If the fan motor is faulty, replace the fan motor.
