REMOVAL / INSTALLATION

Oil cooler removal / installation

    Disconnect the negative battery cable.

    Drain the engine coolant. (Refer to section E2.)
  3. 3
    Remove in the order shown in the figure.

Shows the oil cooler hoses routed from the engine block (A, B, C connection points), the oil filter body, oil cooler, O-ring, gasket and the spin-on oil filter at the bottom. Torque values are noted at the bolts.

    Install in the reverse order of removal.

Steps After Installation

  1. 1
    Fill with the specified amount and type of engine coolant. (Refer to section E2.)
  2. 2
    Start the engine and check for leaks.
