Installation

  1. 2
    Apply silicone sealant to the contact surfaces of oil pan as shown in the figure.

    Install the oil pan within five minutes of applying the sealant.

Steps After Installation

    Fill with the specified amount and type of engine oil. (Refer to page D2-5.)

    Start the engine and check for leaks.
  3. 3
    Check the oil level and add oil if necessary.
