REPLACEMENT
Oil filter replacement
- 1Remove the oil filter by using the SST.
- 2Use a clean rag to wipe off the mounting surface on the oil cooler base.
- 3Apply a small amount of clean engine oil to the O-ring of the new filter.
- 4Install the oil filter and tighten it by hand until the O-ring contacts the oil cooler base.
- 5Tighten the filter 1 and 1/6 turns by using the SST.
- 6Start the engine and check for leaks.
- 7Check the oil level and add oil if necessary.
